They're search engine spiders. They visit MFGG (and other sites) so that MFGG can appear in search engine results. MyBB automatically detects them as bot users, so they have a special status on the forums.

Google and other search engines can give you sites in search results because they go to them and record everything on the page. When you see these guys in the online users section, it means they're recording the site right now.
