Is the Game of the month award a bit too small for a great game?
Well, now there's the game of the year award!
It's badges (The game of the year award winner runner-up and 3rd to 5th place) are based on Throwable items from Paper Mario Sticker Star
Winner is a Golden Sombrero
Runner-up is a Silver Spike Ball
3rd to 5th place is a green bone.
The winning game also gets a Red ribbon placed on the game's portrait on the mainsite.

Cool idea. We actually have this as part of the yearly MFGG Awards but I feel like it doesn't get enough attention- it almost feels like the game of the month gets more attention.

MFGG Awards already serves the purpose of recognizing and rewarding our Game of the Year, but I see your point about how it might be cool to have an extra-special badge for whoever wins Best Overall at MFGG Awards.
