More state flags

So if you are like me or the other 327.2 million people living in the United States of America, you probably live in one of the 50 united states, or one of the 5 territories of the United States (of America). I think many people can agree that we need more state flags! We already have 3.. (even though those were most likely only added because staff/ex-staff live there), we still need us(a) some states. I'm sure alot of people in the Mario Fan Games Galaxy community actually, live in one of the united states. Please, add the rest of the states, or just add more. I made a mockup of an arkansas flag here:

Why not just let the flag be something you can provide your image for by link or upload? Get rid of the current flags and just let people provide their own 16 x 16 (or whatever size it is) image in its place. This way, anyone who wants a particular flag can just add it to their profile themselves. If people abuse it somehow, then just take action against them as needed.

It's a good idea on paper, but I think it'll just cause unnecessary confusion and make things more complicated than they have to be. Plus you'll get requests for territories and provinces in other countries such as Canada.

Instead, you could add a State/Territory/Province sub-category in your profile.

Why does US get a special treatment? If we are also adding state flags why can't the other countries get them too? Plus it would take a ton of work to make those flags.

So I'm kind of against this idea in general.

I know that there are some state flags already but I wouldn't add them personally anyway.

adding state flags would be a huge endeavor for sure, just do country and pride flags and call it a day

Honestly I found it inconsistent that states and provinces like Quebec, Texas and Colorado (among others) get their flags on the site but not others. I believe it should just be countries (and even then some could argue territories like Puerto Rico or unrecognised countries like South Ossetia should be there or not) and pride flags. Representing every single state and province of every single country would just overflow it and it's not necessary really.

Wait, Texas and Colorado get their own state flags?! That's not fair! I want an Ohio state flag!
