SMRPG is overrated and Paper Mario crushes it like a dixie cup. And Geno sucks ass. And Mallow is objectively a better character.

Cackletta remains the greatest and funniest Mario RPG villain. Her facial expressions are incredible. f*** Dimentio, he bores me.

Mario Kart Super Circuit was great. Better than both Mario Kart 64 and Super which are overrated messes.

SMB3 remains the king of Mario platformers. SMB2 is the prince, or something. All the others are not as divine.

DDR Mario Mix needs a sequel with playable Waluigi. Hotel Mario needs a remaster.

Change my mind.

- never played SMRPG so i can't argue there
- Popple is better, though I agree about Dimentio. To me he feels like Fawful 2.0, but worse. (Fawful is hella cool tho)
- I've played Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and own Super Circuit, and I can guarantee that that Super Circuit has the best controls out of either of them. Design-wise, it could use some graphical clean-up. Never played 64 so... /shrug
- You dare insult SMW? How can you not like Yoshi? Or the music? Or the Special World and its theme-changing secret?
- never seen footage of or played DDR Mario Mix but the music is bangin' thank siivagunner for making rips of it
- Hotel Mario 2 must happen.

SMB3 had more interesting power ups and locations, and the music is amazing and far less repetitive. Also, the graphics are fantastic for their time and Mario and Bowser don't look like hideous monstrosities in that game.

But SMW is still pretty good. Far better than Sonic 1.

I haven't played much of the RPGs and Mario Karts, so I can't say much about these.

Okay. SMB2, SMW and NSMBDS are my favourites, but I can see why SMB3 is considered a masterpiece. The problems are the art style and colour choices can look weird at times, levels are short with a higher difficulty to mask this, and the bonuses are almost impossible to win anything in without a guide. I don't agree SMB2: Mario Madness deserves the "Prince of Mario Platformers" status, seeing as it was never intended as a Mario game, and the art style is weird at times. SMB2's allstars version makes it look absolutely beautiful. An NES Mario game with a similar art direction to Kirby's Adventure would be cool.

YES!! we do need Waluigi DDR. Maybe it would be a twin story, with Waluigi dancing after some sort of treasure or fame.

A hotel Mario remake could be fun as a budget game. Maybe as an arcade-styled game with the pace changed to feel more like bubble bobble, and the occasional enemy rush round.

As for the Sonic thing, Sonic 1 is the one game I want completely remade to modern standards the most. The game's main problem is it's identity crisis where it can go from fast-paced action to a snail's pace in the space of a single zone. I feel with HD graphics, overhauld level designs with the inclusion of zones from the 8-bit version, emeralds found in levels as opposed to special stages (lets say you have to get one out a gambling machine based on the special stages in a casino, or by solving a puzzle in labyrinth), with a "Platformer where speed is a reward for skilled play" design and more. Maybe Clockwork Zone could be a zone in place of the Mega Drive Scrap Brain act 3?

what're your thoughts on Land 2, and why should it be ranked lower than SMB3?
i do agree with SMB2's placement though, that game is honestly one of the greatest in the series
