Golden Sun: A World Reignited

Every once in a while, OC ReMix releases a full album of video game music, usually centered on a particular game. This summer they released an album for the first two Golden Sun games, and it's good stuff - quite possibly my favorite OC ReMix album yet.

The album does an excellent job of capturing the vibe of the Golden Sun games while exploring an eclectic range of genres. (I'll even forgive the lack of Jenna's solo battle theme - that one has always been a favorite of mine!)

It's worth checking out.

This composer recreates the Golden Sun songs using the same synthesizer that the tunes were originally sampled from. In doing so, they create a sort of restored/HD version of the songs. I back this project on Patreon.
