THE SITE LOADS FAST!!!

WHEEEEEEEEE!!! These pages take only up to a few seconds to load, and more often than not the time is like instant! I could zoom through tens of pages in a minute!

*goes clicking on a couple links to demonstrate my clicking speed*

Shoot... just as I thought things were getting better, this one page takes several seconds to load...



Oh great... now the next page didn't even load. Just gave me a 504 error. Yippee.

What is your problem with MFGG, bots? I want to go fast like Quick Man, but the last few days feel like I'm being stopped by Flash Man! Hm, now where's that metal blade...

How fast are the pages loading for you? Instantly? Seconds? Minutes? Centuries? Feel free to tell!

I say, I say, now hold on just a minute there, son! The main site is slower than a tortoise in a tar pit, I tell ya! I’m clickin’ and clackin’ like a chicken on a hot griddle, and all I get is error messages poppin’ up like weeds in a garden! I’m startin’ to think this site’s got more bugs than a swamp in July, I say!

We might as well waddle on over to the MFGG Discord or even the Spriters Resource, if it’s a spritework fix we’re after, I tell ya! Why sit around here like a chicken in a henhouse when we could be diving into a treasure trove of fangames, ROM hacks, and mods? There’s a whole world of creativity just waitin’ for us, I say! Let’s spread those wings and get to where the good stuff’s at, I tell ya!

It's hit or miss for me. Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it's slow, and sometimes I get a 504 error.

I've been working on fighting the Robot Masters, but it's been a tough fight. Some of them are weak to robots.txt, while others can only be defeated using .htaccess. I've heard of a legendary weapon called Cloudflare that could help, but I'm not sure if it's right for us. Either way, I'm sure Dr. Wily is behind these problems.

The site is loading for me in a timely manner now, otherwise I might not bother making this post! It's interesting to note that a sprite sheet uploaded in April 21 got five comments within the same day! It must've been a quiet day for bot activity, and a boon for the actual members! Perhaps Dr. Wily was asleep.

This morning MFGG has been slow to load, although still a bit usable. Now, it's been loading near instantly! But there appears to be a cost: the main site! Seriously, go there, and you get like a "White Screen of Death"! Oops. I hope that problem can be fixed.

Yeah, it seems that the MFGG mainsite is often slowing down the entire server - when the mainsite is working, that is! This mainsite outage was not by design, though - it was a pesky bug hiding from the PHP 7 upgrade. Try reloading now.

Vinny and I recently paired up and I believe we've solved the issues for good. But do let either Vinny or I know if you see any additional slowness/timeouts.
