You may have noticed on the main site, there is a sheet that is Commodore 64-styled. I made this sheet.
I edited a bunch of the graphics from SMB1 and made them C64-styled.
Here's an only slightly newer revision of the sheet posted on the new site (it fixes the duplicate bush tiles by replacing them with actual recolors instead of being duplicates)
And here is a much more work-in-progress sheet which is meant to combine all four (technically five but Lost Levels is only an expansion to the original SMB1 so it hardly counts) "Original Tetralogy" Mario games (SMB1, SMBLL, SMB2, SMB3, and SMW) into one giant mega sheet (the rows are basically in the same order; standing, walking, jumping/falling, grabbing/throwing, skidding, dying, SMB1 palette swaps, WIP Big Mario, tiles, powerups, miscellaneous, palette swaps for powerups, palette swaps for tiles, and palette swaps for tiles, miscellaneous and powerups):

(Credit to Drshnaps for ripping SMB3 Mario, and Mister Man for ripping SMW Mario, Arima ripping, SuperJustinBros ripping SMB1 Mario and SMW objects, VIIPER and daemoth somehow helped SuperJustinBros rip SMW objects, and others that I might have forgotten to mention)
As you can see, I made powerup sprites for the Mushroom, Fire Flower (also Ice Flower), Starman and the Super Leaf, with the Mushroom being available in SMB1 and SMB3 style (SMWC64 recycles the SMB3 Mushroom Sprite), the Fire Flower being available in SMB1, SMB3 and SMW styles (the Ice Flower, as of now, is only available in SMB1 style), the Starman being available in SMB1 and SMB3 styles (Like the Mushroom, SMWC64 recycles the SMB3 Starman sprite), but the Super Leaf only being available in one. The Poison Mushroom is a recolor in SMB1 style, but has a completely new sprite for the SMB3 and SMW styles.
There are also running sprites for Small Mario in SMB3 and SMW styles, because those two games included separate sprites for walking and running.
There are two styles of flag, the flag to the left is the "Star" flag seen in the original SMB1, and a semi-custom flag edited to look like Poland's flag.
The Star of David in SMB1 style is also available, and also includes an edit to make it look more like the actual Star of David, which is present on the flag of Israel (actually very hard to see against a blue background, but if you have a different theme on with a different background, you can see it well).
The SMB1 palettes go as follows: Normal, Fire Mario, SMB1 Original Luigi, SMB Deluxe Luigi, Starman Palette 1, Starman Palette 2, Starman Palette 3, Starman Palette 4/Monochrome Mario/Super Ball Mario, Starman Palette 5/Alt. Monochrome Mario/Alt Super Ball Mario, Starman Palette 6, and finally, Ice Mario.
And here are the two mockups so far;

Lastly, please credit me and HDTV if you use these. You do not have to ask permission, but give credit.
What do you think of all these? (Please especially comment on the SMB3, SMB2 and SMW stuff because I'd much rather have comments on the SMB1 stuff on the original C64 SMB1 Mega Sheet on the main site)

An update! This update includes:
  • Goombas! No Galoombas/SMW Goombas/whatever they're called yet, but there's now enemies!
  • Shy Guys! No palette swaps yet, but they're semi-universal!
  • An attempt to reorganize the sheet. Now, on the top-left of each square on the grid, there will be pixels that determine which game style the sprite would work best with. For example, the Shy Guy has a dark blue pixel, a bright colorful blue pixel and a really bright blue pixel to say that it can be used in SMB3, SMB2 and SMW styles. Toad has a medium blue pixel to say that he can only be used in SMB1 styles.
  • More skidding frames! SMB3 Mario and SMW Mario can now skid. (SMB2 never had a unique skidding animation so I didn't have to make that one) Also, Big Mario has been expanded (Big Mario takes a REALLY long time to make, so once I have enough frames for any of the Big Mario styles, all the frames will be separated into different rows of sprites along the grid.)
  • The Commodore Logo! The outlined version is meant to be semi-universal (usable in SMB2, SMB3 and SMW styles), while the non-outlined version is just meant for SMB1 styles. This item is meant to act kinda like an equivalent to a 3-Up Moon.
See for yourself:

The star's eyes are shifted to the right, and it doesn't look right, maybe it's suppose to be flipped, but the star's eyes are supposed to be in the middle.
This is also a error with the other ones like the mushroom and flower. Not the SMB1 ones.

They're supposed to be flipped, and if I put the eyes in the center, it would look like it had no eyes (or a missing single eye).
That's actually how that would look. I don't think these are "errors", this is just how the Commodore 64's low-resolution mode works.

A lot more things have been added. hdtv actually helped me make this possible, making these sprites:
SMB1 Piranha Plant
SMB1 Cheep-Cheep
SMB1 Podoboo
SMB1 Buzzy Beetle (but most extra palette versions we by me)
SMB1 Bullet Bill
Also some new things added are:
SMB1 Canadian Flag
SMB1 Danish Flag
SMB3 Mario Alt. Palettes
SMB3+SMW Styled SMW64 Poison Mushroom
SMB1 Extra Bush
That's pretty much it, besides credits.

This is a pretty amazing project. Well done! I like the sprites and they seem perfectly fit for what you'e trying to do.

A new update has occured, and this one's new content is:
Other Fire Flower's Ice Flower palette swaps.
Koopa in SMB3! The red ones are coming in the future, and so are the SMW ones and the SMB1 versions.
Bob-Ombs! Includes: Key, No Key, and Bob-Omb Buddy.
Reimagined "Coming Soon" section, with Apple II-styled SMB1 and a C64-styled mega tileset featured as coming soon.
The C64 palette, useful for if you want to make your own sprites or palette swaps.
Also, these mockups of the C64 stuff:
The custom tileset in the first mockup will be featured in the upcoming C64 Mega Tileset, while the HUD elements will be featured in the current sheet.
The reason as to why there's two? Due to there being a lot of tiles in SMB2, SMB3 and SMW combined, I will have to separate those tiles from the SMB1 tiles as SMB1 didn't really have a lot of tiles as opposed to the later games.
The second mockup is still a work-in-progress, which is why there's still 1x1 pixels in most areas while most of the rest is 2x1. I'm not actually sure how to do the HUD or menus for the games as although I might have to cater to the low-resolution mode which these sprites use, Great Giana Sisters for example had a HUD and menu with high-resolution text but low-resolution in-game stuff.
Also, this update will be applied to the SMB1 sheet on the mainsite to turn it into a general purpose C64 sheet.
Lastly, the Apple II stuff will only be made for SMB1, as the Apple II (the original, not the Apple IIe, c, or GS) didn't really last long enough to theoretically have another Mario game on it, as newer game systems had better hardware than the Apple II's soggy 4-5 colour palette-per-7x1-section at high resolution mode.
