Are your threads getting locked and s***?
Well now you can delete your threads with these steps if my suggestion gets implemented.
Go over to your thread,
Press the delete thread button, (it looks like a goomba's shoe)
and PAF! the thread will be permanently deleted and you'll be brought back to the forums's forum list.

I'm against threads getting deleted, as it can potentially lead to good discussion and information being deleted. If a thread gets locked I think it's simply best to let it naturally get pushed back into oblivion as new threads get created instead of outright deleting it completely.

Also, if your threads are getting locked, perhaps it may be a good idea to give a little more thought to the threads you're going to post. But that's just my two cents.
The power of teamwork will eventually pull us through

If you turn this into a real infomercial I think you will win over more supporters

I agree with @Thunderbro - I'd rather not delete topics unless there's a very good reason to do so. If you want to remove a thread that's highly sensitive - for example, you shared something very personal and later decided that you don't want it in the public eye - I'm totally OK with removing it. But if you made a corny spam topic that later got locked, it's probably best to chuckle at it and move on - getting a topic locked on a Mario fansite is not the worst thing that could happen to you.
Course clear! You got a card.

I agree with Vinny. If you make a thread with a bad intention, you're better off leaving it locked rather than killing it off. While I do think this is a nice idea, I'd just leave it up to staff to delete threads.

We don't even delete threads as staff. They are hidden from public when we do find one that needs removing but there's always a record that we can look back into.

From a member perspective that's not much different from deleting, if you made gengar's goomba shoe button move his thread to the secret forum I'm sure he wouldn't mind.
