It's kinda annoying. An option to disable it would be nice.

The recent alerts, you know the bell icon. If you press either "mark all as read" or "delete all alerts" you get a browser notification.

"delete all alerts" should have a safeguard but mark all as read shouldn't, imo

That's definitely not intended behavior- either we remove that button outright or fix it. No reason to have two links right next to each other that do the same thing.

While we're at it, Can we disable the alert icons from popping up for a split second when visiting a new page, even if we have no alerts? It's very distracting.

I noticed that today's (7-28-19) MyBB software forum update an hour ago changed what displays, but it's still distracting.

Loading a web page before the update:

Loading a web page after the update:

Is it possible to to just prevent these icons from appearing if you have no alerts? Thanks.

yeah whatever hiding it is doing its logic backwards- it should be hidden by default and if its not zero unhide it

That has actually been bugging me since I started using this forum (I just didn't feel it was worth making a topic about). It's not super important, but having that flickering fixed would be pretty nice.
