I tried the game during the open network test and uhhh...

The Switch 2 version is the Switch 1 version which is... graphically subpar and runs at 30 FPS which felt terrible to play.
So I wanted to try it on PC but for some reason it wouldn't let me connect to the title server.

So yeah, my hands-on impressions are limited but the game looks like it could be fun.
It definitely won't be the Mario Kart World killer many are hoping for, but I like that it has significantly more content than Team Sonic Racing. It doesn't look like it will reach the heights of Transformed though.

It's alright. I wish the item balance was better like in Transformed. I keep getting screwed over by items going from 1st place all the way to the bottom 3, and it's giving me MKWii flashbacks.
I make games with my friend DJ Coco sometimes. Check them out here: https://cliax-games.com/

Now, that it's out, I've decided to give the full version a whirl. My impressions are...

- This game is extremely unpolished. It's janky, objects and camera are very jittery and the whole thing just feels... cheap, to be honest.
- The visuals are a significant downgrade from Team Sonic Racing, and there is rampant asset reuse virtually everywhere.
- Despite all this, the core gameplay is extremely fun and races are honestly more fun than the average race in Mario Kart World

This game really shows you don't need the biggest budget to make a fun and compelling game, and that putting effort into the right places comes a long way.
