While using Game Maker, there's been a couple times where I accidentally did some key combination and then a green box with a number appears right next to the line I did the combination at. I tried to use the keys that I think I used before to get rid of it, but nothing is happening, although the green box seems to have no effect on the game itself.

Does anyone know what the green box is supposed to be for and how can it be toggled on/off, though? It is kinda annoying when it's there and it might help to know if it does have any effects on the game.
