Favorite video game music?

i know, i know. i'm probably liable to get a stern talking-to from the mods here for (unwittingly) reviving a topic someone has doubtlessly done before, but still, i feel like this could be fun. in this topic here, you ought to post your favorite songs from video games.

i'll start with the theme to the PS1/N64 game vigilante 8. it was a spinoff of a very simulation-heavy game called interstate '76, but it was far more of an arcadey, twisted metal style game. it had a groovy 70s-esque soundtrack, and this was the theme song for the game.

Hmm, I've got lots of music that I like but it'd be hard for me to pinpoint a favorite. Mega Man and La-Mulana tracks are pretty good though, so my favorite might belong one of those two.

Oh lord, too many to list. The majority of the Donkey Kong Country series, Mega Man, Journey to Silius, etc.

DKC2 remains my favorite video game soundtrack of all time (unless you count things like Smash that are compilations of music that originated in other games).

I love lots and lots of them and sometimes they jockey around for the top spot.

Right now I think Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is my favourite game soundtrack just ever. The whole thing just fits together perfectly.

It's also just really hard to pick an absolute favourite track from it. But here's Jammin' Jams.

Falcon Punch is the result of the Sun heating fists. It drives the Blue Falcon. Heating causes destruction of water into the pain, where it then hurts, creating rain. Rain creates flowing water in tears, which can then be converted into other forms through more pain.

This is a challenging question since I like a handful of VG Music. However here are my current top list of good VG Music:
- DKC Trilogy (SNES)
- Ape Escape
- Megaman 3, 4, 5, 10
- Breath of the Wild
