Super Mario Epic 2 turns 20

Just a short while ago, on September 12th (which has now been 12 days, forgive me for not catching this sooner!), the seminal Super Mario Epic 2: Dream Machine by Jeff Silvers turned 20 years old. That's an insane thing to think about, really. It's a wonderful fangame, even if it has more than a few Default Clickteam Engine-isms. It hides them well, and it's an astonishingly well-polished experienced even to this day.

Was it totally necessary of me to make this thread? Pfft no, but I wanted to anyway.

Happy birthday Super Mario Epic 2! It's definitely one of my favorite fangames of that era. While not totally without jankiness, it has a lot of good ideas and a lot of heart, and it's still a very fun experience even to this day.
