This is really cool.

A 1997 demo of Pokemon Gold and Silver was recently leaked, and apparently this demo was quite a bit different from the final game. Most notably, it has a lot of Pokemon that were either changed drastically or cut altogether in the final version.

Check this out if you haven't already.

Very interesting! There's a lot of good Pokemon designs there, it's a shame that not all of them made it into the final game. Maybe we'll see some of those unused designs reappear in a future Pokemon game, which seems to be the case for a few such as Lickitung's evolution.
