How can I join MFGGwiki?

Hi! So I wanted to contribute to the MFGGwiki. However, the register page results in an error and I can't even log in, even with my same username and password from MFGG! How do I do that?

Afaik the only one with any power on the wiki rn is Vinny. And he's pretty busy with life I think.

Wiki accounts are separate from your mainsite and forum accounts, so you'll need to register a Wiki account even if you've already created an account on the mainsite and forums. I recommend registering with the same username you have on the mainsite and forums.

Thanks for your interest in the Wiki - the Wiki could definitely use some love! However, the MFGG Wiki isn't very active in 2020, and I'm not sure how the Wiki fits into MFGG's long-term plans. But that's another story for another day!

The MediaWiki login doesn't carry over to the MFGG Wiki login. Trying to do so will result in an incorrect password error. Creating accounts don't work on MFGG Wiki either, since going to https://wiki.mfgg.net/index.php?title=Sp...ateAccount ('Register Account' doesn't lead there, but it should) results in the following message:

@McKraken Oh yeah, seems the Create Account page won't be working for you. I can try tinkering with the Wiki permissions, but in the past we usually get a flood of spambots registering if we leave registration open.

In the future, we'll want to adjust the CAPTCHA/anti-spam settings.

For now, please send me a PM with your e-mail address and desired username, and I'll create a Wiki account for you.
