Like, it's called "Mario Fan Games Galaxy", yet most of the posts/threads have nothing to do with Mario.

Yes, I am aware that I have about 6 or so fangame projects currently in development at the same time. And yes, I am also aware that all of this is very ambitious.

Well, it has become shortened to MFGG, like MTV has once been "Music Television," or TLC was "The Learning Channel."

Everyone on the forum calls it MFGG, therefore, the full name "Mario Fan Games Galaxy," has become practically useless.

Usually, the status quo is the best thing.

We have a focus on Mario, but outside of the main site (that being what you get when you just type www.mfgg.net), we don't forbid non-Mario content. Users of the forums are free to create topics for whatever they like, as long as it is within the rules.

Never thought about this before but it'd be pretty interesting of MFGG dropped what it stands for and just was the name "MFGG"
