The "Doomsday Clock" is a load of BS. Remember when the world was going to end in 2012? Yeah, it didn't. Plus, how do people KNOW when the world is ending?

the doomsday clock isn't an end of the world prophecy type thing like 2012, it's a symbolic thing based on the current state of society

DO NOT under estimate this lakitu to much or it will be the end of that life (note: do not over estimate him either).

Yeah the doomsday clock is at least somewhat trustworthy. It's based on things like climate change, wars, and the likelihood of nuclear attacks. It's just saying that we're as close to a global disaster now as we were during the cold war.

The Doomsday Clock is mildly interesting and vaguely scientific, and it makes for fabulous clickbait headlines. Ultimately, however, it doesn't mean much.
