There's a number of great games out in the world that have been forgotten or lost throughout the internet's history. Ones like Hiveswap or Bendy and the Ink Machine may be less relevant than they are today, but some people believe it's because the games are incomplete and still have more to give. However, many people see these games as "gone for good", just because they haven't seen the light of day for a little bit of time. I'd choose to believe that games like these need more recognition than they're getting, all because people left them in the dust as soon as they got unnoticed.

What do you all think? What are some forgotten or lost games that you think should make a return, even if they're recent? I'd personally like to see Hiveswap's Act 2 come out, it's a really great Homestuck-inspired game.

Do childhood web games count? Like, I used to play the GROW series by EYEZMAZE when I was a little kid before. It now got ported to smart devices like Android, which makes things really neat!
It's actually a great puzzle game but also requires thinking before you click, otherwise you'll get one of the many endings there. Unfortunately, no one's ever played the game as much as before. It's now forgotten. :/

Speaking of Bendy and the Ink Machine, there's actually a growing community there. Idk if it's still alive.

Yeah, those count.

I remember playing GROW's series of games, they were amazingly made and I really want to get back into them! The sound effects, artstyle, it really was creative! The mechanic of "finding the way by testing out combinations" was probably one of the best ideas I've seen for a puzzle game by far.

Sadly I lost my copy of Pokemon Pearl at an anime con years ago. That was the last pokemon game I ever finished. I meant to pick up a copy of Platinum eventually but never did.
