How do I create a poll?

I tried to create a poll topic, but when I went to the poll option and it only let me pick how many opions I want, but not what those options are. I am new to this board setup so I am not sure how to do things around here and I am usually on moblie. Plz hlp.

Polls aren't working for me, either.

I tried testing polls with the default MyBB skin, and that didn't work either. This means it's not a problem with templates. I'm not sure what the problem is, but we'll get to the bottom of this mystery!

I finally figured out how to make polls. You must first click on the "I want to create a poll" option and then click on post thread, which I find pretty ridiculous.

Hmm, I didn't realize that. That's awkward indeed. Perhaps there's a way we can make poll creation more intuitive.
