""We choose to go to the [Suggestions board] not because it's easy, but because it's hard; because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win."

I love TD, he's an awesome fellow, but realistically he hasn't had any "power" here for years and years. Founder status is just recognition of what he created, not a label of administrative power.
Not really - we don't have a formal staff hierarchy.
Thunder Dragon is MFGG's creator, but for the past decade-plus he's rarely exercised staff powers, aside from approving a queued submission every blue moon. We always get his blessing before making a major change, though.
Retreiver II isn't an admin on the forums, but since he's the one hosting everything on the server, he has some extra power. (He's not the only person with a backup of the boards, though, so he's not an absolete ruler.) I'll always consult with him before doing anything that might have a significant effect on server space or bandwidth, for example.
While TD is in the Founder member group on the current forums, I'm technically considered the founder of the MyBB forums, since I'm the one who first installed them. From MyBB's perspective, anyone marked as a founder can't be demoted. This isn't a problem on MFGG, fortunately, but it can be useful if you're worried that another admin might go rogue and demote the person who created the board. If I ever step down from being a forum admin, I can give this status to another admin.
