Sounds like something pretty expensive, would we be able to afford to play it anyway? Not me at the moment, but would be cool if it was brought outside Japan.

In a limited capacity, as far as I can tell. From what I remember, Namco-Bandai has these VR places set up all over in Japan, but currently the only one that exists in the US is in Washington DC and, iirc, will only be there for a limited time.
