This is a little thing I wrote for the MFGG Wiki as a small piece of my Better MFGG Plan. This article covers some of the questions that MFGG admins receive most frequently, including some topics that aren't really documented anywhere (like how we decide whether to accept a new affiliate).

I decided to lock the MFGG FAQ article since it's a "semi-official" topic, but feel free to suggest stuff to add to it.

I have checked this out a while ago, and it's pretty nice I must say! I think it'd be nice if there's an easy way to access it, though. Maybe there could be a link to it somewhere on the main site? if there's anything that could be added, what about a question and answer regarding the "Nintendo hates fangames" thought that some people throughout the Internet still have?

I think this is definitely something worth adding to the side column on the main site. My only suggestion would be to re-post it on the forums if possible and link to that rather than the wiki article. I think this partially because the wiki still looks severely dated and partially because that could bring a little more attention to the forums, even if indirectly, and I think exposure to the forums is more likely to get members to want to join the community than exposure to the wiki is.

@Q-Nova I agree - that would be a good topic to cover in this article.

@Evil Yoshi Toes Yeah, there's something to be said for making a forum topic for this instead of a Wiki article. I wanted to put some useful content on the Wiki, but a forum post might attract more eyeballs.

And yeah, I've given some thought to putting a link on the mainsite and/or the Wiki home page.
