Quarter 1 2020 Life Update

Broke my arm in a slip and fall accident in February. Broke my wrist and shattered my elbow completely. Reconstructive surgery took over 7 hours to complete. Had to drop spring classes because I'm right handed. Couldn't drive. Still not allowed to lift anything 5 pounds or more. Not been great.

Then this virus pandemic happened and I'm filled with a lot of anxiety about my place in the world. Am hating my job right now because I have a new manager who is retaliating against me for taking self quarantine when I was ordered by a doctor to do so.

Boyfriend says to keep the job because of the state of the economy, making me feel trapped in a job that is making my manic depression and anxiety much worse.

Hope it's been a better 2020 so far for you.

Was looking for a job right before quarantine happened, so I'm not sure what will happen after it's over. I think most companies will be reluctant to start hiring new people right away, although so many people got fired that I might stand a chance to find something.

Could be better. Could be far worse though.

Pretty sure it's not legal - might be worth showing the manager/employer this and present it less as "you're bad because you're breaking the law" and more like "I'm trying to look out for the company so we don't get in legal trouble."
