Spritecomp #10 2018; Boss my Baddy

First off, I wanna say congrats to Big Potato for taking second place, and to everyone else who entered the last comp. Also, I want to say that I'm sorry for taking so long to make this topic, but I wanted to wait until the holidays were over since I figured people would be too busy.

The theme for this comp is simple. Take an enemy and make a boss version of it. It doesn't have to simply be the leader of the enemy you choose, you can go all out. Maybe have a robotic Monty Mole, or a paper craft Shy Guy, who knows.

RULES:

1. You can't use a preexisting sprite.

2. If your boss is a "king" styled boss, you have to do more than make it "Bigger with a crown". Add at least some flair to it.

Also, this isn't a rule, so you don't have to do this part, but as a little bonus challenge, it'd be nice to see the boss sprite accompanied by the basic enemy if you want to sprite them. Again, just a side challenge, you are free to skip it.

I've already made a few bosses that would fit this theme; can I use one of those, or do I have to make something new?

Also, shouldn't the title of this competition be spritecomp 1, not spritecomp 10?

As long as it's a new sprite made after the start of this comp, I guess it should be fine. As for the number, I wasn't sure to be honest. I mean, the last comp was #9, and I didn't know if it started over with the new year or what. That said, it doesn't really matter in the end.

Not only did we have the same comp before, I believe I'm the one who made it. Honestly, I'm a fan of revisiting old themes from time to time. I was originally tempted to make this comp a simple "Mario" themed challenge.

i love this theme so much! i would enter like 30 times if it were allowed. i ended up sketching and brainstorming a number of different ideas but this one ended up being my favorite:

The boss of the Uproots: the Overroot. It tries to jump on Mario like a regular Uproot, and then tries to stomp him with its extended legs, shooting spikes out with each step. To defeat it, getting up to a higher elevation is required to untie its bow and slam into its weak point right on top of its head.

It just means you can't use a sprite you made prior to this comp, the style isn't an issue, so go nuts.

I kind of panicked while making this..
Anyway this is Queen Pokio, Some Toads found the new species after the events of Mario + Rabbids Kindom Battle, then after the said Toads showed them to the public, she badly injured by really bad Toads, now she and her children want revenge against all Toad kind..
I have not made a tactic for her yet though...
