What song(s) have you been listening to?

Been listening to a lot of Nubuo Uematsu's works for the final fantasy games, as well as a lot of 2d castlevania tunes. I especially love Michiru Yamane's tracks, she has some pretty good compositions. some of my personal favorites are (from sotn): dance of pearl, crystal teardrops, (from POR): Gaze up at the darkness, victorian fear, (from OOE): edge of the sky, an empty tome (both the game arrange and intro versions). I also adore a clashing of waves from OOE by Ichihashi Yasuhiro, certified bop. OOE has some of my favorite music ever.

So I recently discovered some obscure Mario albums. The first is called "Compact Disco". Here, a British Mario raps to some remixes from various games, including two from Super Mario Land. Daisy also gets her own song too. The lyrics are kinda cheesy, but overall I found this album to be on the fun side.

The other album is titled "Donkey Kong Goes Home". Let's just say that the acting and singing is … not good. The guy who does Mario sounds similar to modern Mario, oddly enough.

I'd also say I've been listening to the Outhere Brothers, but would posting house tracks with some pretty filthy lyrics be appropriate?
