Supra Smash Bross For the Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum

Okay... WTF IS THIS?! Confused

Supra Smash Bross for the Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum (or Smash Bross C64 for short) is a Super Smash Bros. parody that takes itself as seriously as you'd expect.

Like any Smash game, the answer is yes.

You can't call yourself a Smash game if you don't have unlockables! Cool

And guess what? The game features over 20 challenges, each unlocking unique and special things.

I don't have a lot of experience playing the real Smash games, so I can't offer detailed feedback on this, but I have to say I'm impressed by the amount of effort you've put into making a good "bad" Smash game.

I noticed that the timer can be a negative value after the game ends, so I'd recommend fixing that. It looks weird to have a timer of 0 minutes and -2 seconds.

I actually saw that video a while back after it was pointed out to me since he spends over half of it playing the original Supra Smash Bross.

The newest version of the game is here! Check out the Supra Smash Bross Direct if you'd like to see some of the new features for yourself before playing:

What's more, the Gamejolt page has gotten a HUGE overhaul, though the game can still be downloaded from MFGG.

Some changes include:
-2 Player mode!
-Balancing patches
-Target Test
-Event Matches
-Trophies
-6 new characters and 3 new stages
-And more!

The next update will be around NCFC time, so if you find any bugs beforehand, report them in the Smash Bross Discord server, accessible through the game.

I got the following error message when I played the Galaga minigame:

Error that kills Smash minigames Wrote:FATAL ERROR in

at gml_Object_obj_gal_alienA_Other_0

Also, my coin count didn't go down when I bought trophies. The coin count on the screen would decrease, but when I closed the game and returned, I was back to the same coin count as before.

Also, it would be cool if the timer always showed two digits in the seconds place (1:02.34 instead of 1:2.34). I could help you fix that if you don't know how to do that in GM.

Y'know, would you mind if I have a little character suggestion here?

I'd like Bren McGuire from Turrican. I think he would especially fit here since the first two Turrican games were on C64 and ZX Spectrum (even if that's just an in-name only thing).

Also, can all the sounds be in a separate folder so it isn't so cluttered every time I go to play the game?
