Paper Mario: Star Matrix is a Paper Mario 64 ROM Hack created by me, pieordie1! It aims to create an entirely new adventure in the Paper Mario universe based on the first 2 Paper Mario games!
Story
The main story is that Mario, Peach and Luigi are all going on vacation to a nice tropical island. Suddenly, they have to make an emergency landing from their flight due to bad weather and end up in the busiest sky city in the world, Skyport Metropolis. There, Mario runs into Serena T., an assistant of a professor at the Celestial University, who was, strangely enough, on her way to send a letter to Mario, asking him for a meeting with her professor. Mario accepts, and goes to meet with him. The professor (unnamed at the moment) reveals that he wants Mario to help him on a "small" expedition to collect 7 magical celestial stars called the Elemental Stars, so that he can use them for a special presentation. Mario agrees, and begins looking for the stars. In the meantime, Peach feels there's something suspicious about the professor and starts looking into his past.

Music
For this project, I will be composing every song in the game myself! I will be using a combination of FL Studio and Musescore + soundfonts.
Currently I have completed: 15 of 100+ songs!
I regularly update my Soundcloud with new songs, so please follow me there! I also stream level modeling on my Twitch channel regularly and upload previews to my YouTube channel!
I look forward to posting the games' progress here regularly! I will try to get a weekly update thing going, but it may not happen sometimes due to university. In addition, once I finish the prologue completely (about 12 maps or so) I will make a playable demo. Thanks!
