I always wanted to ask, if you ever thought about a modern 16:9 screen format instead of 4:3?

Yeah, the 16:9 aspect ratio is something I am all too used to. You guys definitely need to add that in my opinion. Really looking forward to this game coming out.

It's hard to believe that this game started development when most people didn't even have 16:9 monitors... I feel old.
I would personally love to see this game in 16:9, but the problem is that all the levels and certain passages have been designed with 4:3 in mind, and they would no longer work properly when the view is stretched out. So that means all of these scenes need to be remade, and I think we've been taking long enough with this game as it is

Maybe after the game in the standard 4:3 aspect ratio is out, you guys can work on an update for the game that'd make it work in 16:9, at your own pace of course. Since the game would already be out in its entirety, it wouldn't be something that'd have to be super recent after the release. I don't think people would mind waiting.

Do you guys have an estimated release date for the game? I can hardly wait! This is looking to be my favorite 2D Mario platformer!

 Jumping feet first into hell isn't my job; making sure it's crowded when I get there is.
