Yeah, I know what you mean. I wish I could give you a precise timetable on this, but since I don't have the PHP skills to build a complete CMS from the ground up, this is out of my hands. I really hope lumaSMS is done sometime in 2018, though.
@HylianDev might be able to tell you more. Course clear! You got a card.
