The humour is present, but not the focus of the show. The show finds its strengths in character-driven moments and tackling social issues and questions. The episode "A Happy Refrain" from season 2 is an excellent example of the former and another episode "Majority Rule" is an excellent example of the latter.
I highly recommend these episodes as they are highpoints in the show. Not the highest points, a more recent episode has taken the top spot. Of course, I still recommend watching the entire show, but I'll ultimately that is your decision.
