Thanks for thy he feedback! I guess the enemies and objects are a little all over the place and non comprehensible. However, arent there a lot of Marko levels with such layouts? I remember some levels at the end of Mario Bros 3 are like bullet bells.
As for the graphics, I'm thinking of working on those myself. I've been told I'm a decent sprinter so it shouldnt be a problem. It also would go well with my art style I'll have.
I do have about 30 levels planned all based on Holidays and I have given them descriptions in the form of words. Should go ok. I have four main powerups planned (there are two seen in the videos).
For Mario's running, I get most people probably like the traction and friction of Mario's speed up and slow down but I like the stability in this game. Maybe a bit of speed up and slow down would be a good idea but then I might need to reprogram a lot of stuff. I dont think reprogramming is the best route. Thanks though.
What problems did you have with the layout? @Evil Yoshi Toes

It is confusing on those test levels mostly because of the layout and placeholder graphics. Once the graphics are replaced and the objects become more comprehensible I think it will be fine. It looks like a fun hectic game to play.
What problems are there with the layout? If I have not addressed it in my last post.
