WIP [Super Mario War MOD] Super Cat Wars (A Super Cat Tales Mod)

I've been taking advantage of quarantine to finish up a lot of content and assets for Super Cat Wars! Here's some of the updates: (You can always keep up with new updates in the MFGG Discord)

- ENGINE UPDATE!
My friend from the Super Mario War discord server, AzureBerylBlue/Cat, is working on bugfix builds for Super Mario War. I got them to make custom executables for the mod itself, so expect a ton of bugfixes that aren't in the original Super Mario War. Alongside that is online multiplayer... but I have yet to figure this out and make a documentation for it lol.

- Backgrounds, New Maps, and Skins
All the backgrounds (including day/afternoon/night variants) from Super Cat Bros to Chapter 2 of Super Cat Tales 2 are finally complete. I also added new maps and skins too, which means many fan-favorites (like Sergeant McMeow, Luna, Tanuki (Yokai Dungeon), Dyna Boy, and others) are coming to Super Cat Wars!

- WORLD MAP AND MENU
A lot of assets have been done for the main menu, award effects, map filters/flags, etc. And the World Map has received a ton of updates as well.




- More Crossover!
I'm rolling out more crossover characters in the future, but I have something cool to show you. There's a game that has kind of the same art style as Super Cat Tales, called "Dadish" by Thomas Young/CatCup Games. The game's tilesets are added as crossover assets to use in the level editor! BTW I recolored them to the Super Cat Tales Pico8 color palette, so they can fit easily into the game's environment!


- SUPER CAT TALES 2: CHAPTER 3 and SUPER CAT WARS
Last but not the least, I may or may not put this mod on hiatus. The reason why is because I'm planning to release the mod after Super Cat Tales 2's Chapter 3 update comes out. The update includes very essential assets that may be included in Super Cat Wars, such as new backgrounds, tilesets for World 6 and 7 (Lava World & Ultima City), new characters, NPCs, and world map graphics.

- LEVEL HELP!
After fully completing the mod, I'll be assigning a few people from MFGG to create more community maps for Super Cat Wars. I really need your help, so let me know if you wanna opt in to help make maps for the game!

And there's some more surprises to come, as Super Cat Wars, my Super Mario War 1.8 mod, gets closer to completion. Keep yourself updated!
