I'm sure Hello will find the strength to move on from such harsh scores. Honestly the game feels like a joke game. I don't think he ever imagined it'd get good reception lol

"while the behavior hello receives is going too far, he does encourage it a bit by stubbornly refusing feedback people give him. that said some people really take it too far, especially when you consider that hes not the only stubborn mfgg member out there. its just kinda become a meme to dump on hello imo BUT i dont think super crown land was a serious attempt at anything because it stars naruto, sonic and bowsette, nor do i think giving low scores is bullying (though insulting hello is obviously)"

Please find the right word, because you are implying that the behaviour is earned and valid and you later did the same in the discord but allowed people to deflect the convo both times to "I hate you," even as I made my point that saying you disagree with the harassment while also giving room for said harassment to exist is BS.

If people only judged fangames based on their functionality, then what's the point of even having a fangame? Might as well have nothing but engines on the website then and just call it "Mario Engines Galaxy".

Super Mario Prism was rated higher because it was the first of its kind coming from Hello. I think SCL is only really disappointing because of a lack of improvement in the areas that needed them the most from his previous 3D games, despite what many people have many saying. That, and because there's no clear intent as to what kind of game SCL is trying to be.

These are just my thoughts though.

It has improved. I don't necessarily think SCL deserves a higher score than Prism, but a -2 or 0 is absurd.

I played it and tested it out. All my feelings towards it are 100% accurate to what I said in my review. The fact he hasn't improved almost at all in the space of almost a year is baffaling to me. I feel a 1 is an accurate score due to it having concepts that (although executed incredibly poorly) could work if they were given more thought (mostly the lighting). I feel a lot of the reviews have accurate descriptions of the gameplay and design of this game. The game is also so out of touch it is hard to tell if it's a joke or a serious game idea, and since MFGG got rid of the "Joke games that are bad for the sake of it" thing, I'm going to assume it's somewhat serious (similar to how regular toad game is). I couldn't get past 1-3 and 2-1 and looking at the screenshots by Mors and other people, I was playing the best levels of the game.

He has improved. Accurate critique is muddied and ruined by harassment and unreasonable scoring.
