Please find the right word, because you are implying that the behaviour is earned and valid and you later did the same in the discord but allowed people to deflect the convo both times to "I hate you," even as I made my point that saying you disagree with the harassment while also giving room for said harassment to exist is BS.

Let me rephrase it now that I'm not busy with other stuff:

This whole situation with Hello escalated because of behavior on both sides. I can only speculate what Hello's intentions are, he's shy, doesn't care, whatever, doesn't matter. What I can say for certain is that he doesn't really engage with the community or respond to feedback, which frustrates people. That is understandable. This has caused people over time to start lashing out more and more at him over time, because hey, he doesn't defend himself anyway, till the point where he pretty much became the website's unofficial whipping boy. That is not understandable. Keep in mind I don't defend this behavior, I'm just explaining why this happens. I've thought for a long time that people have been treating Hello way too harshly even though there are plenty of stubborn mediocre fangamers out there, but I can see how and why it's come to this.

That said, though, it's no surprise that Super Crown Land out of all games would gather such a strong response. Having tried it a bit myself it is better than his older 3D works, but only barely. Adding anime and old controversial memes on top almost make it look like Hello is going out of his way to provoke people. Whether or not that's actually the case, I can't say, but it sure looks like it. Again though, that doesn't justify how people treat him.
