A good list! A few suggestions:
Civilization: Good SNES port of a classic strategy game; will keep you playing a long time if you get hooked on it
Dragon Quest V: Great RPG with a strong story, a memorable soundtrack, and a unique Pokemon-like party system
Dragon Quest VI: Another good entry in the series
F1 ROC: Race of Champions: A pretty solid Formula One game (especially if you use my guide!)
F1 ROC II: Race of Champions: A good racing game that's basically half F-Zero and half F-1
F-Zero: I need to play this some more
Ken Griffey Jr.'s Winning Run: I saw you didn't have any baseball games on the list, so here's one
Kirby Super Star: One of the best-loved Kirby games - I was surprised your guide lacked this one
Kirby's Dream Land 3: Another Kirby game and one of the best Super NES games of the N64 era
Liberty or Death: A complicated American Revolution strategy game; probably not your cup of tea, but I'm pointing it out because it's an interesting and obscure game
NHL '98: If you're looking for a hockey game, NHL '98 and '97 are good choices
Scooby-Doo Mystery: I've always been on the fence about whether this is a fun game or a so-so one, but my 6-year-old self was excited about it
Seiken Densetsu 3: A sequel to Secret of Mana that might be even better
