How I got hacked and got my accounts back

I always use the browser version of Discord. Do you think for a Windows user, the desktop version is safer than the browser version, or vice versa? Do you think any browser is less bad than the others when it comes to protecting against this kind of attack?

I am pretty safe to say the browser version is safer as the service is being sandboxed by the browser. Discord PC app is unsafe because it has unrestricted access to user's local storage thanks to bundled Electron app. Though, even for my scenario, I would say that I will still get hacked because mine came from Minecraft Modpack end.
