I come from a part of the planet where "y'all" is a pretty common - and extremely flexible! - term for addressing a group of people.
@CuteYoshiGirl That's a really weird thing to say out of the blue like that. MFGG is an extremely diverse community, and I think we're good about creating an environment where people feel comfortable and welcomed. If you notice a post where someone isn't being respectful, it's better to talk to a forum staff member to get the matter resolved instead of making broad accusations about an entire community.
