Also, if you ever make a game in GM and you find it runs poorly on your machine, there's a strong chance that other people playing it will encounter performance issues as well. You probably don't need to spend money on a new PC or upgraded hardware unless your current gaming laptop is really old.
Well, I do notice that when you first start up the game, it lags a bit, but after a little bit everything seems to run ok. It's only during transitions is when it lags at first but it usually corrects itself after a while.
