I might have misunderstood CYG's comment - I think she alluded to an old in-joke that the lower-case form of "MFGGer" looks a little like a not-nice word that starts with 'N'.
(I'd still suggest caution when it comes to sarcasm on the Internet though - it's all too easy to misunderstand a joke that goes over one's head.)
