Something I want to add to this - you can absolutely just push out your game without all your planned features as long as those features aren't terribly important to the core of the game, cause you can just patch it in later.

I totally agree with you. I follow this idea of releasing the game as bare-bones but with everything important to its core, and then adding more features through free updates, as opposed to releasing it as a one-and-done or a live-service game.
