I think Nintendo is doing fine with Luigi, despite having some bad spots in certain games. However, I believe that if Nintendo had the chance to give up Luigi forever, they'd never do it. He's the best bro of Mario, the jumper to end all jumpers, the bravest in the land, he's Luigi!
Even if Luigi were to vanish from Mario's games for good, we'd never forget him. He's the greatest Nintendo character by far.
