The thing that the GBA also did very effectively was introduce japanese-only franchises to the west. The Wars series and the Fire Emblem series in particular were really excellent on the GBA. If I had to choose to only have the games from a single developer, it would probably be Intelligent Systems, which makes both series (as well as Mario Kart: Super Circuit and WarioWare Twisted).
