Seeing Guinea's post, I wanted to mention I've been having a blast playing the newest demo of Midas Machine in MFGG's 20th Anniversary Time Capsule. I've been meaning to write a review for the Time Capsule but wanted to get through all the games first, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot people are playing it or wanting to review it.
I remember when this project was first suggested on the forums, I actually contributed some original music to Midas Machine (even a final boss battle theme) originally, but the music didn't fit in very well and I think the decision to change the soundtrack to Mario music was eventually made.
But damn, I wouldn't have imagined the game many years later would turn out THIS charming, fun, and layered with wonderful features, awesome level design (the experimental ghost world levels especially), replay value, and so much polished content! Midas Machine so far is incredible, the many level exits and secret areas on the map especially have been a treat. Excited to keep playing and eventually review it.
