You're giving me flashbacks to several other games featuring forum members... I remember three other cases, one of which I was the main developer on, that I signed up for. The first one was completed, then the release was delayed by over a decade (it is possible, but extremely unlikely, that someone got the full game beforehand during its original release, but the link was broken by the time I tried to acquire it for myself). I also planned on making music for this one, but it came too late... as a matter of fact, it's the earliest one ever that I (attempted to) contribute music for. The second one, which I was the main developer on, is lost forevermore due to a hard drive crash. Both of these occurred over 10 years ago. I remember a third one that was more recent, a few years ago, that I also contributed music for... and that one also never made it.
My only real context within this site is with Project Demo by Heraga (which I was contacted through this site in 2015), a few music competitions (I entered in Music Competition #6 and #10 in 2013, and came up with the theme in #7 in 2013, although I failed to enter this one), and the initial reason I showed up in the first place way back in 2012: the cancelled game Mario and Luigi vs. the Furbies, for which I have an incomplete fan soundtrack for, created by Hypernova. I didn't even show up on the new board for two years. Mario and Luigi vs. the Furbies is probably my strongest context to MFGG.
If I were to join, I would either be a supporting character, with my avatar (and furbies, specifically 1998-era ones... and/or the furbies from Mario and Luigi vs. the Furbies) being the reference... or I could contribute some music to this game.
