personally mine is super paper mario, but a very good contender for it is mother 1/earthbound zero

I don't think I could pick one because I like different games for different reasons, but some of my favorites I can play alone are the first Paper Mario, Ocarina of Time, and the first Little Big Planet.
My favorite games that I play with other people are Mario Party 3, Smash Bros Wii U and Mario Kart 8. I tend to enjoy these games more because I prefer playing with friends than alone.

super paper mario is an extremely good choice though

DO NOT under estimate this lakitu to much or it will be the end of that life (note: do not over estimate him either).

Let's see, I think my usual favorite games list is something like: (not in any particular order)

- Final Fantasy VI
- The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker
- Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Kingdom Hearts 2(: Final Mix+)

Which all in all, I think is still a pretty good list. But I think my list today would be something like: (once again, not in any particular order)

- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Kingdom Hearts 2(: Final Mix+)
- Final Fantasy X

Can't really think of what else I'd add to it. There's plenty of great games out there but those three definitely stand out for me.
