It's a little unnerving to think that I've been a member of this website for over 14 years in some fashion or another, and that I've been browsing it almost as long as it's even existed. It's equally difficult to go back through the IPB archives and read my old posts - I was a pretty big idiot child. Nowadays I'm just one of those things Wink

There were tons of cool people back in the day that I admired, though. A lot of oldbies felt out of reach for friendship when I was much younger, but now it amuses me that I'm technically an oldbie now and have been for quite some time.

I remember drawing peoples characters. A lot of good art was done. I practiced tons. I remember NO body being awesome and made me a full character sheet. Oh... and everyone saying I looked like Jack Black. (Probably not so much anymore)

brother, i was there. that was back when we were all using clickteam tools, and i kind of miss that. this was also back when myself and a few others were pumping out libraries for said tools. there'd always be the screen at the start which said "will you give (insert library maker's name here) credit?" if you clicked yes, it'd let you go on, and if you clicked no, it'd play a humorous little animation where the guy on screen who represented the user would get blown up, shot, or whatever else.

i forget if it came out in 2001 or 2002, but there was a mario fangame called mario left the cheese out from this era which featured a lot of mfggers as bosses. supertoad2k, thunder dragon, nite, and so on.
