COMPLETED Ancient Shroomba

Happy Halloween, boos and ghouls!

This thread's about "Ancient Shroomba", a hack for Super Mario RPG. Play as Mario, travel several rooms with a few puzzles without your signature run or jump abilities, and find the exit.



There are no turn-based battles in it, it's all on the overworld. You could say it's like Super Mario RPG minus the RPG element.

Instead of turn-based RPG battles, you are given three life-hearts. Keep them high! If you run out, you are sent back to the beginning.

Additionally, solve the puzzles and find the exit. That's it for the game.

I already mentioned it on the main site, but I will echo it here as well. This is a very creative hack and I feel that it has potential to be something great if you were to expand upon it.

Also minor criticism on the room that requires the running jump for the coin, I feel like that platform you have to run on should have been expanded some(unless of course you did expand it in your patch), you basically have to position yourself on the edge of the platform to pull off the running jump, which can be a little hard since platforming is a little clunky.
