What's the Sonic OVA to you?

I think that the Sonic OVA is good in my opinion. It's just weird how far off it goes off the actual Sonic canon. But I do like Knuckles's hat.

It's kinda weird. The animation's pretty impressive (heck, it's the same team who did CD's opening), but the story's kinda weird and the setting's a bit bizarre. It's neat, but a little confused.

Also yeah, Knuckles kinda just shows up out of nowhere and doesn't really do anything

All in all, I'd say it's STRANGE, ISN'T IT?!

Falcon Punch is the result of the Sun heating fists. It drives the Blue Falcon. Heating causes destruction of water into the pain, where it then hurts, creating rain. Rain creates flowing water in tears, which can then be converted into other forms through more pain.

But other than that yeah, it was pretty weird.

It's actually not the same team! Not even the same studio.

I haven't actually seen the OVA yet, The VHS tape was rare here to begin with, and now it's even hsrder to find because the tapes have detiorated and been thrown out of circulation. But from what I've seen, it seems like wacky fun. Definitely nothing to be taken seriously. And I think it's a pretty good representation of Sonic's personality.
