I was about to make a Super Mario Maker 2 styled-game. But I need to know how to do it. I'm using Hello's Mario Engine for Game Maker Studio as a base BTW.

Hello's engine isn't designed for that.

This sounds like a pretty bad omen when an new guy with seemingly no knowledge of how to start a game project has the same game ideas as guy with no concept of people not having the same views as him and a stubborn refusal to make custom content for himself in games about making custom content
