There was a lack of April Fools sprite submissions on the main site. Only three, and one of them was mine.

I made an April Fools review, but it was never accepted in April Fools for everyone to see. It hasn't been declined yet, though. You can even view it through my review list! Here's a link:

It was going to be rated 2002/10 (can you guess why?), but a staff member told me that the score can only go as high as 127. It would be really funny to see the game be on the top of the Hall of Fame with an absurdly large number. Oh well. I suppose that the staff was being really busy. I thought the main joke of this year's April Fools was a bit funny anyway, if rather minor! It could have been taken further by removing more of the Mario-related images, like the buttons and background.

Speaking of 90s media, if I had things my way, I would've turned MFGG into Mario Fan Game Jam or MFGG Jam. It would be based on the 1996 movie Space Jam. Instead of one skin, each section of the forum/main site would have their own skin, just like 2009's April Fools. All skins would look just like the old Space Jam website (https://www.spacejam.com/1996/), with each section represented by a different planet/ship. For example, News & Events could become Press Box Shuttle and Development Discussion could become Behind the Jam. We could even make the Space Jam theme play in the background! Wouldn't that be hypercool? It would've been a great way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of that movie!
